I could never find soft texture brushes that I liked so I made my own.
I use them alot to add texture to a background gradient as shown in the preview. - Just brush on an layer set to 'overlay' or however you like it, over a background. Real easy to use, and I find I use them all the time.

lemme know how u use em ^^ link me or leave a comment chur
Thanks mate. I appreciate the brushishish. I'm about to use dem on my siteness. I'm making several themes for my site in CSS, so I need more than one banner for each theme to go with the colors. I obviously have to make a cool, unique one for every theme! These should help. I'm glad that someone finally figured out that hard contrast isn't always useful in PS, because if needed, a soft brush can be made hard, but a hard brush can not-so-easily be made soft.

Daily Literature Deviations is a group that is dedicated to bringing literature to the forefront of the deviantArt community. We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it.
Each day we will feature 5 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article. In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on. We just ask that you make an attempt to help support the growing Literature community.
