Inevitable doom is upon the planet as the last escape into unknown space. Where will they go?

funky... I question the glow on the opposite side of the planet... I mean, sure, the top side should be lit up, but the bottom side looks odd. Perhaps you meant for it to be part of the planet's ability to move... in which case I'd suggest that you also add some glow and maybe even a few flares (hmmm... it'd be touchy to do flares). Mainly it just looks odd since if the planet is glowing from flying through space, it should be the same all the way around... not on the top and bottom only like it is now.

Just a silly critique, really... it's purely just reasoning... it has nothing to do with the skill you used, which is impressive of course. I love the fractal! The small particle bits you throw in is glorious, and you should try working on making it more sophisticated if possible (not they aren't already... I love the way they seem to fade and pop back out and you really added a lot of depth with them already, and I love the static, motionless look, but perhaps adding more motion would be more appropriate)... making multiple layers and shaping them into more combinations so the particles can go anywhere from exploding to flowing to coagulating to spraying and much more. A lot can be in motion blur, but that isn't a huge deal. Just detail work.

Great composition in general... you put things slightly in the corner and kept it from being to boring placement wise... and you gave a generous portion of negative/empty space to the lower left which also does so much for it. Wonderful work.

Goodness me... the colors and the placement and the subtle motion and the cloudiness around the edges all make this super placid... almost like as if you just threw an orb into water, and just as the bubbles start to order up and float, everything is frozen and there's a complete hush.

Cool stuff and I really hope you keep at it. I still don't know why more people aren't checking this stuff out and giving you tips, but heck, oh well. Just as long as you're having fun and not depending on the community. That's key.

Very cool contrast :)
This nebula... you made it from a fractal, right? I love it ;)

Just the lighting of the planet seems a bit wrong... The glowing nebula should illuminate the planet, you made a shadow there :)

Thanks for you comments :):)

Yes the planet was a bit of a....thing. I thought i might light both sides to kind of throw the viewer off cause a bit of ???. however if it just looks wrong i do have another version.

did you notice my tiny tiny lil spaceships :aww:
